This week in Taking Flight

It’s the last Sunday of the church year and the gospel reading takes us the scene of the crucifixion where the sign above Jesus’ head reads, “This is the King of the Jews.” We consider what that might have meant to those around him, in particular one penitent criminal. What does it mean for us?
