This week in Taking Flight

The words of Jesus in Luke’s gospel today bring us to one of the paradoxes of the Christian faith: Christ who brings us peace also disturbs our peace. The same call of Jesus that promises security can throw us into turmoil and conflict. If we choose to follow him, we may find that we are walking a hard path.
