Today’s gospel reading takes us to three back-to-back incidents that demonstrate the compassion and attention of our Lord. Each situation is very different from the next and, in each case, there is someone struggling with circumstances that need to be put to right… We also struggle with our own circumstances that need to be put to right. So we are encouraged to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit today - Jesus comes to us to heal and restore.
