This week in Taking Flight

This week the lectionary takes us to two parables of Jesus about seeds. We hear that God is at work in small things bringing about growth. This is reassuring and encouraging for us. In the light of world news, community need, or church upheaval it is not unusual for us to feel overwhelmed by events bigger than ourselves. We provide resources for a church service, as well as for youth, children and study groups to encourage people to persist in little things - To keep on doing good, even when we don’t see results, and when no one else sees or appreciates what we are doing.
