This week in Taking Flight

We begin a month of focus on the Season of Creation by examining the creation narrative in the book of Genesis. In this we find that creation comes about because of the intent and purpose of God. The natural world is the result of God’s word. It is stamped with God’s design and appears at God’s command. We are told that God’s created order has intrinsic value. Again and again, God declares the natural world to be good. We look at what that means for our appreciation of, and care for, the planet.
